Jordanian officials: avoiding being dragged into the conflict between Iran and Israel.

According to CCTV News, on June 15 local time, Mustafa Hayari, director of media affairs of the Jordanian Armed Forces, stated that the current situation is an attempt by one party to drag Jordan into war, aiming to undermine Jordan's security and stability. However, Jordan's national position has been very clear from the beginning, which is to avoid involvement in the conflict between Iran and Israel. Regarding the measures taken by the Jordanian Armed Forces to address this threat, Hayari emphasized that the military has raised the readiness levels of various combat troops and logistics units since the outbreak of the conflict, and has placed all combat units and troops on the highest alert status to ensure effective responses to any potential threats. Hayari stated that missiles and drones entering Jordanian airspace are extremely dangerous, as these devices, being military weapons, may experience technical deviations for various reasons, making Jordan's territory a potential landing point. Hayari added that ballistic missiles typically discard excess components during their trajectory, such as fuel tanks, and these components may fall in the area before entering Israeli airspace. These actions directly affect Jordan's national security, constituting a severe threat to Jordan's national sovereignty and the safety of its people, which Jordan cannot accept and views as a direct provocation to National Security.
