The 2025 Peking Stroke Emergency Map has been released, covering all urban districts.

According to reports from the Peking Million Disability Reduction Project promotion meeting held yesterday, Peking has currently built an efficient stroke emergency system, achieving full coverage of stroke treatment, with the number and efficiency of thrombolysis and thrombectomy ranking among the top in the country. Yesterday, the 2025 version of the stroke emergency map was released, covering 86 hospitals in Peking. As of now, Peking has established 46 tertiary stroke centers and 24 secondary stroke centers, covering all 16 urban districts. In 2024, a total of 8,631 cases of acute ischemic stroke underwent intravenous thrombolysis, and 2,586 cases underwent interventional reperfusion, with a thrombolysis rate of 395.3 per million population and a thrombectomy rate of 118.4, far exceeding the national average. By optimizing the connection between pre-hospital emergency care and in-hospital treatment, Peking has achieved the goal of "thrombolysis within the district." (CCTV)
