According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in April 2025, national consumer prices fell 0.1% year on year. Among them, cities remained flat, while rural prices fell 0.3%; food prices fell 0.2% and non-food prices remained flat; consumer goods prices fell 0.3%, and service prices rose 0.3%. On average from January to April, national consumer prices fell 0.1% compared to the same period last year.
