The Ministry of Finance released the financial revenue and expenditure situation for the first quarter of 2025. In the first quarter, the national general public budget expenditure was 7,281.5 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year. Looking at it from the central and local perspective, the central government's general public budget expenditure was 871.7 billion yuan, an increase of 8.9% year-on-year; local general public budget expenditure was 6,409.8 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6% year-on-year.
