The Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce has released a policy for replacing old Autos, home appliances, and electric bicycles, with subsidies for the scrapping and replacement of Autos starting from January 1, 2025. From January 1, 2025, to the time when the old-for-new policy for Autos is implemented in 2025, consumers who scrap or transfer eligible old vehicles registered under their name and purchase eligible new vehicles will be included in the scope of subsidy support. Before the implementation of the 2025 policy, the conditions and standards for subsidies for Autos scrapping and replacement will still follow the requirements of the 2024 policy. Beginning January 1, 2025, the Shenzhen Municipal Household Appliance Replacement Subsidy Policy for 2025 will be launched. The first batch of subsidized categories includes eight types of household appliances: Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Television, Air Conditioners, computers, Water Heaters, household stoves, and Cooker Hoods. A replacement subsidy will be provided to individual consumers who purchase products that meet Grade 2 or above energy efficiency or water efficiency standards, with a subsidy standard of 15% of the product sales price. An additional subsidy of 5% of the product sales price will be given to those who purchase products that meet Grade 1 or above energy efficiency or water efficiency standards. Each consumer can receive a subsidy for one item per category, with each subsidy not exceeding 2,000 yuan.
