According to the national economic accounting system and common international practices, the National Bureau of Statistics used data from the 5th National Economic Survey and data from relevant departments, and simultaneously implemented the reform of the accounting method for urban residents' own housing services, and revised the gross domestic product (GDP) for the survey year (2023). The revised gross domestic product for 2023 was 129427.2 billion yuan, an increase of 3,369 billion yuan over preliminary accounts, or 2.7%.
