It was reported that on December 10, Huadian Power International Corporation successfully issued the first central enterprise shelf equity REITs, with the project in New Xiang having an issuance scale of 1.852 billion yuan, a priority coupon rate of 2.2%, which set a historical low for equity REITs' coupon rates, and is expected to reduce the debt-to-asset ratio by about 0.8 percentage points. Huadian Power International Corporation innovated the issuance model for REITs projects by applying for issuance qualifications to the Exchange in a shelf manner, obtaining approval from the Shanghai Stock Exchange with no objections, becoming the first central enterprise to obtain shelf qualification as an issuer, with an approved shelf size of 13 billion yuan.
