Market research institution Counterpoint Research published a blog stating that in the third quarter of 2024, Apple's global shipment volume increased by 5% year-on-year, maintaining its position as the second largest brand globally (Samsung being the first). However, the report also pointed out that due to the ongoing low upgrade rates, demand has decreased, with iPhone shipments in its largest market, the USA, declining by 5% year-on-year.
