Jiangsu is a major province in energy consumption. Electricity generation is composed of coal-fired, wind, solar, and other new energy sources, as well as gas-fired and nuclear power generation. It was reported by the State Grid Jiangsu Provincial Electric Power Company that as of the end of October, Jiangsu's total installed electricity generation capacity exceeded 197 million kilowatts, an increase of 13% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of new energy power generation has reached 82.52 million kilowatts, accounting for approximately 42%, historically surpassing coal-fired power generation.
