Lin Jian stated that hosting the China International Import Expo (CIIE) is an important measure for China to expand its independent openness and a practical action to promote the construction of an open world economy by China. The data from the exhibition fully demonstrates the tremendous appeal of China's super-large market, reflecting the strong confidence of the international community in the prospects of China's economic development, and also showing the common desire of all parties to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results through open cooperation. Since its first edition in 2018, the CIIE has continued to upgrade and expand, becoming a window for China to build a new development pattern and a platform for promoting high-level opening up. The 'circle of friends' of the CIIE is getting larger, and its role as an international public product is becoming more prominent. This edition of the CIIE provides support for 37 of the least developed countries to participate in national and corporate exhibitions. The specialized area for African products in the food and agricultural products exhibition area has been further expanded, allowing more developing countries to participate in the inclusive economic globalization process. Lin Jian said that openness is the core concept of the CIIE and a vivid symbol of contemporary Chinese development. China is achieving high-quality development by promoting high-level opening up to the outside world. We are willing to take the CIIE as an opportunity to work together with all parties to expand the open 'cake' and extend the list of cooperation, so that the opportunities of China's large market can be shared by all countries and benefit the world.
