Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Stock Vice President Kang Bo stated today at the 2024 Global New Energy Auto Collaboration Development (Shanghai) Forum that the industry's attitude towards extended-range technology has reversed. Currently, there are 15 brands launching over 35 models into the market, covering a price range from 0.1 million to millions. Kang Bo also mentioned that extended-range and pure electric have high platform commonality. In the short term, when breakthroughs in power battery technology bottlenecks are difficult, extended-range is an important solution to alleviate range anxiety. Moreover, extended-range offers better flexibility, testability, and is more compatible with traditional industry systems, aligning better with existing user habits.
