An analyst at Goldman Sachs stated in a report: "We believe that the Fed is likely to cut interest rates by 25 basis points in both November and December, but we believe there is more uncertainty about the pace of rate cuts next year. Partly because of the elections, and partly because if the growth data remains strong and the unemployment rate stays stable for a few months, the Federal Open Market Committee may consider slowing the pace at some point."
