On September 26, the new energy self-use green electricity aluminum production line invested and constructed by Inner Mongolia Dian Tou Energy Corporation, a subsidiary of State Power Investment Corporation (002128.SZ), officially started construction for the 0.35 million tons green electricity aluminum project in Zhaqannaoer, Tongliao City (Zhaqannaoer aluminum alloy continued construction Phase II project). The project plans to build an electrolytic aluminum production capacity of 0.35 million tons per year, and to build a supporting 0.65 million kilowatt wind power project and a 100,000 kilowatt energy storage project. It is expected that the wind power project and the 0.35 million tons green electricity aluminum project will start production simultaneously by the end of 2025. After the project is completed and put into operation, the annual electricity consumption is estimated to be 4.65 billion kilowatts, with green electricity accounting for 80%. By then, the installed capacity of new energy in the Huolin River Circular Economy Demonstration Project will reach 1.7 million kilowatts, the electrolytic aluminum production capacity will be increased to 1.21 million tons, and the overall proportion of green electricity consumption will reach 40%.
