By the end of August, the scale of new energy installations in the province reached 50.54 million kilowatts, including 41.1 million kilowatts of photovoltaic installations and 6.36 million kilowatts of wind power installations. The growth of the new energy installation scale drove a significant increase in electricity generation. In the first 8 months, Zhejiang's new energy electricity generation reached 47.5 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 30.99% year-on-year. During June to August, the new energy electricity generation reached 21.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a 34.99% increase compared to the same period last year, effectively ensuring the supply of energy and electricity in the province.
