Today (19th), the reporter learned from CNOOC that heavy equipment from two major countries, “Anemone 1” and “Haiji 2,” will be put into operation at the same time, marking that China's independent construction capacity for oversized oil and gas equipment has reached the world's advanced level. Asia's first deep-water conduit rack platform, “Sea-Ji-2”, integrates multiple functions for drilling, production and living. The total height is 428 meters, and the total weight exceeds 0.05 million tons. The first cylindrical offshore oil and gas processing plant in Asia, “Anemone 1” is nearly 90 meters high, has a total weight of about 0.037 million tons, a maximum oil storage capacity of 0.06 million tons, and can process about 5,600 tons of crude oil every day. The Liuhua Oilfield, where heavy equipment from the two major countries is located, was put into operation in March 1996. It is the first deep-water oil field in China. The average water depth is about 324 meters, and the proven geological reserves exceed 0.16 billion tons. After 28 years of exploration, the oil field has contributed more than 23 million tons of deep-water oil and gas. In order to improve the overall recovery rate of the oil field and carry out secondary development, it is planned to build 32 new wells.
