Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group announced that transgenic insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant soybean conversion event DBN8002, developed by its subsidiary Dabeinong Biotechnology Research, has passed the safety evaluation review of the National Biosafety Technical Committee of Brazil and obtained planting permission in Brazil. The public notice period is 30 days. This approval follows DBN9004 and is another soybean conversion event approved in Brazil.
