On September 11th, the Fujian Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Peking Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise in Fuzhou. According to the agreement, the two parties will engage in deep cooperation in multiple areas, including pathogen detection technology and vaccine development, clinical project research, scientific popularization and talent cultivation, vaccine cold chain and information management. One of the important goals of the cooperation is to promote the research and development of new vaccines and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and to conduct clinical research on Wantai's vaccines under research and already on the market for human use.
