Recently, the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau of Shanxi held talks with Shanxi Coking Coal Group. The relevant person in charge of the group and the main responsible persons of its five secondary units, including Xishan Coal and Electricity, Fenxi Mining, Huozhou Coal and Electricity, Shanxi Coal International, and Huajin Coking Coal, participated in the talks. The talks seriously analyzed the prominent problems exposed by the coal mine accidents of Shanxi Coking Coal Group and the main problems discovered by coal mine supervision and law enforcement. These problems reflect the prominent issues in the safety development concept during coal mine safety production work of Shanxi Coking Coal Group, such as weak safety development concept, weak awareness of the rule of law, a gap in the governance of major disasters, failure of main responsible persons to fulfill their duties in accordance with the law, inadequate implementation of the main responsibility, and insufficient lessons learned from accidents.
