It also calls for research on improving the flexibility and wide load operation capacity of hydroelectric turbine generator units, exploring the potential of hydropower resources, improving the efficiency of operation of old units, increasing the stability of unit operation, and better adapting to the needs of the new power system. For hydropower projects with demand in the power system, conditions in power plants, and guaranteed elements, research will be conducted to promote the renovation and upgrade of units. Efforts will be made to promote the construction of basin-wide hydropower centralized control, carry out research on smart hydropower related technologies, and gradually promote the intelligent operation of equipment and products.
