On July 22nd, Ehang announced that the Civil Aviation Administration of China has formally accepted the application for the Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) for civil unmanned aerial vehicles for manned operation submitted by its wholly-owned subsidiary EHang Teng Hang and its joint venture operation company in Hefei, Heyi Aviation. It is expected to conduct unmanned aerial vehicle operation licensing and operation qualification certification for both companies, and reach a consensus with the applicants on the examination process, examination subjects, and examination framework. The Civil Aviation Administration of China has also formed a professional review team recently to officially start the relevant review work.
