According to news released by Hefei, the reporter learned from the Jianghuai Frontier Technology Collaborative Innovation Center that the Anhui Humanoid Robot Industry Innovation Center has been approved to build the first domestic and world-leading humanoid robot research base around needs in key areas such as industrial production, high-risk operations, medical care and pension, culture and education, security patrolling, and disaster relief. The Anhui Humanoid Robot Industry Innovation Center is led by the Jianghuai Frontier Technology Collaborative Innovation Center and collaborated with 13 organizations including the Advanced Research Institute of the Chinese University of Science and Technology, Hefei University of Technology, iFLYTEK, and NIO Automotive Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd. to build an industrial innovation platform integrating research, design, evaluation and market. The innovation center addresses the problems of multi-modal sensory integration and drive control technology for humanoid robots, and focuses on breaking through key technologies such as integrated joint module development, strong physical technology, smart brain technology, and agile cerebellar technology. On this basis, we will gather the strength of the superior platform for humanoid robots in Anhui Province to build a humanoid robot system integration center, a comprehensive evaluation center, an industrial application center, and a Wuhu industrial sub-center to form an integrated full-chain development model of “production, learning, research, and use” to promote independent development and mass production of humanoid robots throughout the entire process.
