It is expected that Hunan Province will announce several measures and layout plans to support the development of the hydrogen energy industry in the near future. Hydrogen energy is a strategic emerging industry in China and a key direction for future industrial development. Hunan has the foundation, conditions, technology and space to develop the hydrogen energy industry, and is currently seizing the opportunity to advance its layout and accelerate the construction of a national demonstration highland for hydrogen energy with Hunan characteristics. To further strengthen top-level design and promote high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry in Hunan, relevant departments of the province have fully communicated and linked with universities, scientific research institutes, and industry chain related enterprises within the province, and drawn on the experience and practices of Guangdong, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Shandong, Hebei and other regions. Several policy measures will be introduced as soon as possible around the various aspects of hydrogen energy such as production, storage, filling, transportation and utilization, including institutional mechanisms, technological innovation, application scenarios, infrastructure construction, and perfecting service guarantees.
