According to data released by the Passenger Transport Federation, passenger car exports in April were 417,000 units, up 38% year on year and 0.2% month on month, making the highest monthly export volume in history; from January to April, passenger car exports totaled 1.491 million units, an increase of 37% year on year. New energy vehicles accounted for 27.1% of total exports in April, down 2.9 percentage points from the same period. With the recovery of markets such as South America, exports of independent brands reached 343,000 vehicles in April, up 41% year on year and 0.1% month on month; joint ventures and luxury brands exported 70,000 vehicles, up 30% year on year.
