On May 3, the Shanghai Real Estate Industry Association and the Shanghai Real Estate Agents Association jointly initiated a “trade-in” campaign for commercial housing in the city. On the afternoon of May 4, some of the properties participating in the initiative were launched on Alipay's “Leju Exchange for New Purchase” applet. As of around 15:00 on the same day, a total of 7 properties had been launched, including 4 in Jiading, and 3 in Pudong, Fengxian, and Songjiang. Among them, the event period for a real estate in Jiading is from May 1 to 31. The participating properties are high-rise residences and superimposed villas that have obtained pre-sale permits.
