We hope that Germany will ease restrictions on exports of high-tech products to China and take practical measures to provide a fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese enterprises in Germany. Production capacity issues should be viewed objectively and dialectically from a market perspective and a global perspective, starting from economic laws. We hope that the European side will adhere to the principles of marketization and fairness and use trade remedy measures judiciously. Scholz said that China is an important partner of Germany. Germany is ready to work with China to strengthen dialogue and communication, deepen practical cooperation, promote cultural exchanges, jointly address global challenges such as climate change, and promote greater development of the all-round strategic partnership between Germany and China. Germany opposes trade protectionism and is willing to work with China to create a level playing field. The two sides agreed to implement the results of the 7th round of Sino-German government negotiations and continue to deepen cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, science and technology. After the talks, the prime ministers of the two countries jointly witnessed the signing of various bilateral cooperation documents, such as automated connected driving.
