On February 20, the Yunnan City Investment Company involved in the rumor responded to this in an interview with reporters, stating that it was untrue. A number of charging operators in the industry also reported that they had not received similar notifications. Some charging operators also said that currently there are signs of vicious competition in the charging infrastructure market in some regions of China, and there is a need to strengthen collaboration to guide healthy competition among enterprises. There is a precedent for local urban investment companies to cooperate with operators to build websites.
