On December 30, 5 State Grid electric vehicle charging stations were officially electrified in the village committee parking lot of Shuxi Village, Yushan Township, Fuyang, Hangzhou. This marks that 191 townships in Hangzhou have achieved full coverage of NEV public charging stations. By focusing on townships that have not achieved coverage, and scientifically selecting intended sites to lay out public charging stations, 46 public charging stations were built in rural Hangzhou in 2023, for a total of 363 charging facilities. The State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company is also speeding up coverage and access to smart vehicle networking service platforms, integrating integrated charging service experiences such as pile search, commercial information promotion, and social interaction. According to reports, Hangzhou already has 3,577 rural public charging facilities. By the end of 2025, the total number of charging facilities in rural Hangzhou is expected to reach more than 6,200.
