Hunan Province recently issued “Certain Policies and Measures on Actively Fighting Economic Growth to Achieve Overall Improvement in Economic Operation”, which states that it will continue to implement replacement subsidies for new energy vehicles, drive production and consumption of new energy vehicles, and strive for NEV production in the province to exceed 1 million vehicles. By June 30, 2023, individual consumers will scrap household cars registered in Hunan that meet the relevant standards and purchase new energy passenger vehicles within the province will enjoy a financial subsidy of 5,000 yuan based on information such as the scrapped vehicle recycling certificate and the new car purchase invoice. The subsidy will be arranged in a coordinated manner by the province and the city and state where the car was purchased. Provincial organizations carry out activities to promote consumption, such as promoting and applying new energy vehicles and going to the countryside for green smart home appliances. The provincial level coordinates the allocation of funds to provide appropriate subsidies according to the actual expenses of cities and states. Used car dealerships with a tax-paid annual sales volume exceeding 100 million yuan and a growth rate of 10% or more in that year will be rewarded at 0.5% of their used car sales volume, up to 1 million yuan.
