The latest data show that on August 16, freight logistics across the country operated in an orderly manner, with an overall recovery, and civil aviation guaranteed cargo flights increased by 50.1% month-on-month. According to the monitoring data collected by the Office of the State Council Logistics Baotong Baochang work leading Group, the national railway freight transport continued to operate at a high level on August 16, transporting 10.441 million tons of goods, an increase of 0.56% over the previous month, and 7.3927 million highway trucks across the country, an increase of 3.83% over the previous month. The cargo throughput of the monitored port was 33.65 million tons, down 0.1% from the previous month, and the container throughput was 789000 TEUs, down 5.7% from the previous month. The number of civil aviation guaranteed cargo flights (including 498 international cargo flights and 224 domestic cargo flights) increased by 50.1% from the previous month; the collection volume of postal express delivery was about 299 million pieces, up 1.0% from the previous month; and the delivery volume was about 275 million pieces, down 3.2% from the previous month.
