According to the latest figures released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on Aug. 11, auto companies exported 290000 vehicles in July, a record high in a row, with the export volume up 16.5% from the previous month and 67% from the same period last year. Among them, the export of new energy vehicles was 54000, an increase of 89.9% over the previous month and 37.6% over the same period last year, showing a momentum of rapid growth. From January to July, automobile enterprises exported 1.509 million vehicles, an increase of 50.6 percent over the same period last year; exports for the whole year are expected to exceed 2.4 million, in line with expectations at the beginning of the year.
