Data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that the operating situation of China's software and information technology service industry continued to improve in the first half of the year, with double-digit growth in software business income, obvious increase in total profits, and accelerated growth in software business exports. In the first half of the year, the revenue of China's software business was 4.6266 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.9 percent over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 0.3 percentage points higher than that of January-May. The total profit returned to growth further. In the first half of the year, the profit of the software industry totaled 489.1 billion yuan, an increase of 7.3 percent over the same period last year and 5.4 percent higher than that of January-May. Software business exports totaled US $25.6 billion, up 4.0% from the same period last year, or 1.3 percentage points higher than in January-May. Among them, the export of software outsourcing services increased by 9.3% over the same period last year.
