The General Office of the Guangdong Provincial people's Government issued the 14th five-year Plan for Energy Development in Guangdong Province, which points out that the main goal in 2025 is that the comprehensive energy production capacity will reach more than 100 million tons of standard coal, and the total installed power capacity in the province will reach 238 million kilowatts. The maximum power transmission capacity from west to east will reach 45 million kilowatts (transmission end), and the natural gas supply capacity will reach 80 billion cubic meters per year. We will promote the agglomeration and development of the energy industry, vigorously develop advanced nuclear energy, offshore wind power, solar energy and other advantageous industries, speed up the cultivation of emerging industries such as hydrogen energy, energy storage and smart energy, and build new energy industry agglomeration areas with differentiated layout. By 2025, the operating income of the province's new energy industry will reach 730 billion yuan, forming a leading domestic new energy industry cluster.
