China General Nuclear Corporation Delingha 2 million kilowatt photothermal storage integration project was launched on March 23, marking the official start of the photothermal energy storage and multi-energy complementary project with the highest energy storage ratio in China. The project is located in Delingha Photovoltaic (Photothermal) Industrial Park, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province, with a planned area of about 53000 mu and a total installed capacity of 2 million kilowatts, including 1.6 million kilowatts of photovoltaic and 400000 kilowatts of photothermal molten salt energy storage. The project adopts renewable energy generation technology with the combination of photovoltaic power generation and photothermal molten salt energy storage, and the annual power supply can reach 3.65 billion kilowatt-hours after it is completed and put into operation.
