According to the Zhitong Finance App, Sands China (01928) announced interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2017. The group's total net revenue during the period was 3.7 billion US dollars, an increase of 19.5% over the previous year. Profit attributable to company owners was US$678 million, an increase of 23% over the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA was $1.23 billion, up 22.0% year over year. The basic profit per share was 8.39 US cents, with no dividends.
According to the announcement, earnings growth during the period was mainly driven by the opening of Macau Parisians in September 2016 and the recovery of the Macau gaming market.
