DJ Telstra's Mobile Revenue Beats Jefferies' Expectations -- Market Talk

0015 GMT - Telstra's average revenue per user of its post-paid mobile services appears to have grown by 1.7% on-year in 2H of FY 2021, Jefferies says, compared with its expectation for a 1.5% rise. Full-year post-paid mobile ARPU was broadly flat once the Covid-related loss of international roaming income is stripped out. Jefferies notes Telstra's mobile Ebitda margin also grew to 41.4% in 2H of FY 2021, up from 37% in 1H and from 33.7% in 2H of FY 2020. It expects a positive share price reaction to the results. Jefferies has a last-published buy rating and A$4.21 target price on the stock, which is up 0.8% A$3.86. (stuart.condie@wsj.com; @StuartLCondie)
