According to media reports, TeslaTesla Energy has a team of more than 20 employees who search for customer complaints on social media and review sites, according to a former employee of the solar division.

The former employee, who left Tesla earlier this year, revealed that while solving problems raised by customers, the team would also try to get customers to delete their posts. In addition to the team position, Tesla has a team of nine looking for negative comments about the company's CEO, Elon Musk, the former employee said.

This is in line with Tesla's energy department's January ad for "customer support experts", which said candidates would address the "social media upgrade" for Mr Musk. A former manager of Tesla's energy department also said that there is a special team responsible for searching for complaints on social media.
