William Young, group managing director of Credit Suisse and a senior banker who tracks industrial companies, has become the latest executive to leave the bank, according to people familiar with the matter.
Finra records show that Young, based in New York, has been working at Credit Suisse since 2006.
Credit Suisse has faced a series of wastage in recent months after a spate of Archegos Capital Management and Greensill Capital-related loss scandals, although the company has prevented widespread attrition by giving retention bonuses to some executives. Bloomberg News reported last week that Orlando Knauss, global head of industrial investment banking at Credit Suisse, has left and joined Bank of America.Spyros Svoronos, co-head of global industry for the Americas, left earlier this month to join Lazard Ltd.
Credit Suisse told employees on Monday that it would promote Harold Bogle to head of the global industrial group division and report to David Miller. Credit Suisse appointed Gerry Lodge as chairman of the global industrial group and said Doug Pierson would be in charge of the group's operations in the Americas.
Young didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokesman for Credit Suisse declined to comment.
