Earlier, a car owner said on Musk's Twitter that Tesla had removed the waist support configuration of Model Y while raising the price of the car.

In May, Tesla raised the prices of Model 3 and Model Y, the fifth time Tesla has raised the price of his car in just a few months, Electrek reported.

In an earnings call in April, Mr Musk said Tesla had experienced "the most difficult supply chain challenge" because of a shortage of chips. "We have basically solved the problem," he added at the time.
