APHI Saipan, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into two construction contracts with the contractor for Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan guest rooms, public spaces and outdoor renovation works, with a contract payable of US $7.777 million, including US $6.267 million in construction costs and US $1.51 million in contractor fees, the company announced.

The renovation under the construction contract is part of the refurbishment and upgrading of Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan under the Asset Optimization Programme and the rebranding under the Hotel Management Agreement, which aims to prepare for the reopening of Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan under a new brand name "Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan". Upon final confirmation by the hotel operator, Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan is now expected to be reopened under the "Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan" brand in the fourth quarter of 2021.
