Chinese autonomous driving startup Wen Yuan Zhixing announced on Thursday that it has completed a round of financing of hundreds of millions of dollars. The company's valuation has reached 3.3 billion US dollars, but no specific amount of financing has been disclosed.
Investment institutions in this round include IDG Capital, Hechuang Investment, Cornerstone Capital, Cypress Star, Yunjiu Capital, K3 Ventures, etc., while early investors of Wenyuan Zhixing, CMC Capital, Qiming Venture Capital, and Linfeng Capital continue to participate.
Currently, Wenyuan Zhixing is conducting autonomous driving tests in China and the US. In January of this year, the company was approved to officially begin autonomous driving tests in the Haizhu district of Guangzhou. Last month, it was approved by the California Motor Vehicle Administration to conduct tests on the state's roads.
