IFR: Ctrip sets Hong Kong's secondary listing price guidelines at HK$268 per share

On April 13, according to IFR, a media owned by Reuters, the listing price guide for Ctrip in Hong Kong is HK$268 per share.

According to previous information, Ctrip plans to sell 3.6356 million shares internationally, with a price cap of HK$333 per share.

People familiar with the matter, who did not wish to be named because the news has not been disclosed, said that this price guide is about 2% off its closing price of 35.20 US dollars on the NASDAQ market on Monday. Ctrip is offering 31.6 million shares in Hong Kong. The issue price is limited to HK$333.

Each Ctrip American Depositary Shares (ADS) is equivalent to 1 common share. Ctrip is scheduled to be listed and traded in Hong Kong on April 19. An external representative of the company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Ctrip ADS has risen about 4% since this year, bringing its market capitalization to 21 billion US dollars.

Ctrip joined the wave of Chinese securities listed in the US for a second time in Hong Kong. Bloomberg data shows that since late 2019, Chinese tech giants such as Alibaba and Jingdong have raised more than 36 billion US dollars by selling shares in Hong Kong. J.P. Morgan, CICC, and Goldman Sachs (are co-sponsors of Ctrip's Hong Kong listing.

Ctrip's US stock fell 5.4% yesterday to close at $35.2.
