Lands Department to tender for residential land in Fanling and Causeway Bay commercial site

The Lands Department announced that a private residential site and a commercial site in the 2020-21 Land Sale Programme will be disposed of by public tender. The two sites are Fanling Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 279 in Area 25, Kwu Tung, New Territories and Inland Lot No. 8945 of Caroline Hill Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The tender for Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 279 will commence on 26 March and the tender closed on 23 April. The tender for Inland Lot No. 8945 will begin on 26 March and the tender closes on 7 May.

Fanling Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 279 has a site area of about 1886 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding warehouses, hotels and petrol filling stations) purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor area of 68,000 sq m and 1140,000 sq m respectively, both of which comprise the GFA of the public transport interchange to be built by the purchaser in accordance with the conditions of sale.

Inland Lot No. 8945 has a site area of about 1.48 million square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, warehouse and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 60,000 sq m and 100,000 sq m respectively. Both include the floor area of government places of child care centres, day care centres for the elderly and District Health Centres to be built by the purchaser in accordance with the conditions of sale, but excludes the floor area of a public car park built by the purchaser in accordance with the conditions of sale.
