“With an inclusive culture, a bold, and vibrant lifestyle, the city of Osaka is definitely an ideal choice for W Hotels to enter Japan.”President of Marriott Hotels Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China) Rajeev MenonHe said, “We are very excited to once again partner with Sekisui House (Sekisui House) to create a new landmark for local luxury hotels, W Hotel Osaka, leading international travelers and local consumers to explore this hotel full of possibilities.”

Minimalist appearance, extraordinary interior

Amidst the busy cityscape, the giant black exterior of the W Hotel Osaka, designed by world-famous local architect Tadao Ando (Tadao Ando), is fascinating. The overall design concept of the hotel is very interesting. The minimalist exterior design conceals the colorful interior decoration, which is a homage to the Edo period. In the Edo period, in order to prohibit excessive display of wealth, merchants often dressed simply and modestly in public, but were free to display their wealth and splendor in private, and W Hotel Osaka explained this transformation. The hotel's interior design was carried out by Amsterdam's Concrete Design Studio, which designed and created the novel and chic W London and W Verbier. The hotel cleverly blends contrasting Japanese minimalism with the design of a bustling urban lifestyle, making a strong visual impact on Osaka's neon-lit nights.

Colourful, Japanese-style welcome

Arriving at W Hotel Osaka, guests first step through a richly decorated tunnel. The tunnel design is inspired by traditional Japanese decoupage and origami art, and its wall pattern fully explains the beauty of nature and the four seasons. Social center located on the 3rd floorShiodo(W Hotel's innovative interpretation of a traditional hotel lobby) uses bright and vivid colors and attractive designs to greet guests, and shows the passion expressed by W Hotel Osaka for diverse international guests through innovative interpretations of traditional Japanese wooden dolls by Kawaii Kokeshi.

The hotel has 337 guest rooms and suites, and the design is inspired by Osaka's characteristic neon cityscape -- bright spaces, clean lines, and bold colors. Guests can not only enjoy spectacular views of the city skyline through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, but also relax and revitalize in the spacious bathroom equipped with a rain shower and high-end bath amenities. Touch the unknown and unlock the hidden surprise of the room's closet: a “pixel painting” of Osaka designed by the pixel art team eBoy is unique in style, and the city's famous landmarks fill the entire picture. Meanwhile, the theme colors and neon design, which symbolize the classic pink cherry blossoms in Japan and the blue seaside of Osaka, alternately appear in the guest room space on each floor.

Located on the top 27th floorSUPER SURPRISE SUITEExtreme WOW(W Hotel's unique interpretation of a traditional presidential suite) With an area of 200 square meters and a height of 5.4 meters, the five rooms are separated in an orderly manner by oak doors, while also cleverly combining the essence of traditional Japanese home design with the W brand spirit. The “Garden Room” is located at the entrance to the suite, and the Zen-style garden design provides guests with a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bedroom displays fantastic art by Dutch textile artist Sigrid Calon, whose work has been exhibited all over the world, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Inside the bathroom, a large chrome bathtub with a diameter of 1.9 meters was created based on the shape of a champagne barrel, as if taking guests into a surreal space. The suite is also equipped with an open kitchen and an embedded DJ stand (a rarity among Japanese hotel rooms), designed to provide guests with an immersive entertainment and music experience.

The capital of gastronomy, mouth-watering

W Hotel Osaka has created two unique bars and four restaurants, inviting guests to explore unexpected cuisines and memorable dining experiences. Combining international flavors with classic Japanese cuisine, it stirs the palate through unexpected cooking techniques.
