Brian Deese, director of the National Economic Council, said in an interview with MSNBC on Wednesday morning that the Biden administration would not compromise on the speed or scale of the stimulus package.
"We need to act quickly, which has always been the focus of the president," Deese said.
"I think you have heard what the president said," Deese said. "he will not compromise on the speed and scale of the stimulus package. In the end, we need a rescue package to help us get out of the economic crisis and get on a positive track."
Note: majority leaders say the House of Representatives will vote on Friday.
