TeslaShares tumbled 8.55% on Monday, the biggest one-day drop since September last year. The company's CEO Musk lost $15.2 billion a day, falling again to the second richest man in the world. At one point, Mr Musk regained the richest man from Mr Bezos a week after SpaceX completed a new round of financing valued at $74 billion.
Musk is now worth $183.4 billion after Tuesday's plunge, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Although Amazon.Com IncShares also fell 2.13% on Monday, losing Bezos $3.7 billion to $186.3 billion, but still surpassing Mr Musk.
Before January, Bezos topped the global rich list for three years in a row.
