According to a Weibo post released by Changsha Politics and Law Channel today, Mr. Xie, a resident of Changsha, Hunan Province, is blind and usually runs a health care center with his girlfriend. On the evening of October 14, Mr. Xie, who was sleeping, was suddenly awakened by the tone of a text message on his cell phone. The next day he went to the bank to inquire and learned that the two bank cards had been stolen and swiped nearly 10,000 yuan one after another.

Mr. Xie said that the first stolen funds flowed out through Alipay, and the second was discovered afterwards, because he did not open a text message from ICBC, so he did not find it at the same time.

Subsequently, Mr. Xie contacted the customer service staff of the payment software and learned that his identity information had been falsely used by others. Mr. Xie said that after the other party stole his identity information, he opened another Alipay account on the Alipay platform and used the account to transfer money after associating Mr. Xie's own Alipay information.

In response to Mr. Xie's experience, the police of Changsha Anti-Electric Fraud Center said that the victim may be embezzled identity information by lawbreakers when doing business or losing his identity card. In addition, criminals will also use similar pseudo-base stations or sniffing technology to intercept the victim's mobile phone verification code, and steal the bank card.
