Manulife Financial Corporation (00945.HK), Canada's largest personnel and travel insurance company, will launch a travel insurance policy that provides COVID-19-related insurance next month for local and international travel, but only for countries that have not yet been listed as a third-tier travel warning. The Government of Canada urges its citizens not to travel to countries listed in the third tier unless necessary.
According to the terms and conditions, the maximum guarantee for brigade insurance is C $5 million, of which the maximum guarantee for COVID-19 's related insurance is C $200,000. The maximum daily quarantine assistance for each individual and family is C $150 and C $300 for a period of 14 days.
If a country is upgraded from the third category to the fourth category, the company will offer a subsidy of C $500 for return tickets and related accommodation. (fc/u) ~
