On March 9, Butong Group announced that in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Implementation Rules for Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect Business of the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Implementation Rules for Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect Business of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the company's shares would be included in the list of target securities for Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect (collectively referred to as "Stock Connect") starting from March 9, 2026.
Following the inclusion of its shares in Hong Kong Stock Connect, qualified investors in mainland China will be able to directly invest in the company's shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange through the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The board believes that this inclusion will help expand the company's shareholder base and increase the trading liquidity of its shares, thereby enhancing the share value and the company’s reputation in the capital markets.
