DJ Nasdaq Narrows Cost Guidance for 2020

By Allison Prang

Nasdaq Inc. said it narrowed its guidance for adjusted operating expenses but kept it the same at the midpoint.

The company now expects adjusted operating costs for 2020 to be between $1.33 billion and $1.36 billion. It was expecting between $1.32 billion and $1.37 billion.

Nasdaq said the guidance reflects "the depressed levels of corporate travel, lower event spending and delays in hiring, partially offset by unfavorable changes in foreign exchange rates."

Nasdaq affirmed its guidance for its adjusted tax rate to be between 25.5% and 27.5%.
