针对现有不同室内覆盖解决方案的特点，《白皮书》提出采用不同方法来优化。一、对于室外覆盖室内的建网方式，可以通过宏微结合来提升室内覆盖能力：采用创新型立体覆盖方案提升宏站高层覆盖能力，采用多样化的小基站实现专项覆盖；二、对于传统DAS的利旧，可以通过多通道联合收发技术来提升容量；三、对于新型数字室分，通过精细化新型数字室分方案来提升网络性能，降低建设成本，提高运维效率，开放业务能力，从而实现高效5G室内网络建设。最后，室内室外网络协同也是提升网络覆盖质量的必要手段。News on July 17th, recentlyZTE CorporationZTE issued the "5G Indoor coverage White Paper". Aiming at the complex and diversified 5G indoor coverage scenarios, ZTE systematically expounded the strategy for the evolution of indoor coverage scheme towards 5G and the technical path for indoor and outdoor cooperation to enhance user experience. The development trend of 5G indoor coverage technology in the future is prospected.
The White Paper points out that the goal of 5G indoor coverage construction should be designed around three aspects: network, operation and maintenance, and business. Through multi-frequency hierarchical networking, indoor and outdoor collaborative networking, scenes and stages, a variety of solutions are used to build an efficient, economical and high-quality indoor coverage network.
According to the characteristics of different existing indoor coverage solutions, the White Paper proposes to adopt different methods to optimize. First, for the construction of outdoor and indoor coverage, the indoor coverage capacity can be improved through the combination of macro and micro: an innovative three-dimensional coverage scheme is adopted to enhance the high-level coverage capacity of macro stations, and a variety of small base stations are used to achieve special coverage; second, for the benefit of traditional DAS, the capacity can be enhanced through multi-channel joint transceiver technology. Third, for the new digital room division, through the refinement of the new digital room sub-scheme to improve network performance, reduce construction costs, improve operation and maintenance efficiency, open service capacity, so as to achieve efficient 5G indoor network construction. Finally, indoor and outdoor network collaboration is also a necessary means to improve the quality of network coverage.
Facing the development of 5G indoor network technology in the future, the White Paper believes that it is necessary to accurately adapt to a variety of 5G terminals, meet the personalized business needs of different scenarios, support multi-frequency and high-frequency, and realize the integration of heterogeneous networks.
Up to now, ZTE Indoor coverage system QCell has shipped more than 2 million sets worldwide, of which 5G QCell shipped more than 350000 sets.
